How long does it take to deliver Royal Mail?
The Royal Mail has an aim to provide the highest quality collection and delivery services across the whole of the UK. With collections, they are always trying to improve the quality of service whilst providing collection times that meet your needs. With deliveries the Royal Mail aims to of delivered to all urban areas by 3 pm on every working day and addresses in rural areas to be by 4 pm on every working day, there may be exceptions for people in very remote areas, for example, the highlands and islands of Scotland. This is their aim but of course, there will be slight delays at different times and extreme circumstances, for example, traffic delays, weather conditions and with the Covid-19 situation if there is a spike in the infected cases then maybe all mail will be put on hold to counteract that.
